| I hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Evansville. I obtained my master’s of nursing at Murray State University. I have been teaching at OCTC since 1992. I have taught all aspects of the nursing curriculum (except obstetrics) from fundamentals to psychiatric, to medical-surgical nursing. I currently teach Nursing 202, a course with medical –surgical focus. Prior to coming to the nursing program I worked in various settings including coronary care unit, cardiac step-down, home health, and a outpatient surgical facility. I continue to work on a cardiac step-down unit in order to keep my skills and information current. I am married and have 4 children. |
