We offer the following library services to assist you in taking online classes at Owensboro Community & Technical College.
You should receive an email regarding this information at the beginning of the semester.
Find Articles
The OCTC Library offers a number of databases to assist you in finding articles for your research and information needs. You will need to use your KCTCS computer/email User ID and Password. Thousands of full-text journals and magazines are accessible from this site.
Find Books and Audiovisuals
The OCTC Library online catalog allows you to search and find books or audiovisuals. Keep in mind that we utilize a shared catalog with the other KCTCS libraries, so you will need to choose "Owensboro CTC" in order to limit your search to just our collections. You may request materials from our collection at your home campus library by requesting an interlibrary loan.
E-books
The OCTC Library has more than 53,000 full-text electronic books such as reference works, scholarly monographs, literature and fiction. These books are available in the EBSCOhost eBook Collection, accessed through EBSCOhost Web with our off campus access. For assistance, contact us at 270-686-4590.
Ask a Librarian
Complete form to ask a library-related question and we will get back to you within 48 hours. For immediate assistance, contact us at 270-686-4590.
