If you're enrolled in a diploma program at Owensboro Community and Technical College, you can complete additional coursework and earn a degree: the Associate in Applied Science in General Occupational/Technical Studies.

Programs include:

  • Construction Technology
  • Collision Repair
  • Computer Aided Drafting
  • Cosmetology
  • Culinary Arts
  • Industrial Maintenance
  • Practical Nursing
  • Surgical Technology
  • Welding

At least 25 percent of the credits must be completed at OCTC.

Available Credentials

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)

  • General Occupational/Technical Studies:  60-76 credit hours

Length of Program

You can earn an associate of applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
