If you are eligible to register online, you should receive an e-mail with your date to register.  These dates were assigned based on total cumulative credit hours earned. 

Opening dates for Summer/Fall 2008 web-based registration based on cumulative credit hours earned:

The following five groups of students are not eligible to register online:  1) Credential-seeking students who do not have an academic plan signed by their advisor on file in the Registrar’s Office, 2) students on probation or suspension, 3) high school students, 4) students that are not taking any classes that will be counted in their GPA, and 5) students that are barred from electronic access.  Even if you are eligible to register online, the same holds, prerequisites, and related class requirements apply when you attempt to register via the web as when you register in person. 

If you haven’t activated your SUNRISE username and password, you will need to complete those steps first.  Once you have, just follow these steps to access the web-based class schedule and register:

·   Go to SUNRISE at http://www.octc.kctcs.edu/sunrise

·   Select “Access your student records, pay tuition, or register online (PeopleSoft)”

·   Select “LOGIN HERE” on the upper left side of the page

·   Enter your SUNRISE User ID and Password (the same as your student e-mail username and password)

·   Select “Self Service” from the menu on the left side of the page

·   Select “Enrollment:  Add Classes” from the "Enrollment" menu

From this point, follow the on-screen instructions to select the semester, search for classes, and register.  If you are a credential-seeking student, don’t forget to use your academic plan to guide you as you select classes.  Please note that class offerings for future terms are subject to change. 

When you are finished, close the browser to prevent others from accessing your information.
