FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT

The Owensboro Community and Technical College Foundation, Inc. was established June 10, 1986, as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation to support the purposes and mission of Owensboro Community and Technical College. 

The Foundation supports the advancement of public higher education by serving as the chief fundraising agent for the College, increasing financial and educational resources through development initiatives, establishing communication networks with private donors and public agencies, and providing support for programs and activities not funded through traditional sources. 

The Foundation’s vision and goals include:  

• Increasing student access to higher education by providing scholarships and emergency loans through non-traditional funding resources;
• Promoting educational excellence through professional development opportunities for faculty and staff;
• Seeking resources to support the College’s advancement goals as identified during the annual strategic planning process;
• Providing the highest quality stewardship and gift management to honor our donors’ wishes.
