XI. Internal and External Measures for Evaluation

The QEP objectives and implementation plan include both internal and external measures which will be used for evaluation:

Internal

  • Exit Survey
  • Student Evaluation of Instruction
  • Faculty/Staff Survey
  • Strategic Plan Action Steps Progress Reporting (mid-year and end of year)
  • Strategic Plan Focus Group feedback sessions
  • Institutional Effectiveness Committee review
External

  • WorkKeys results
  • WKU GPA of former OCTC students
  • CCSSE results
In addition, as many of the QEP objectives will drive Title III initiatives in the coming three years, the external evaluator that will be visiting OCTC in 2005-06 and 2007-08 will provide indirect, but valuable external feedback on the progress of the QEP.
