Introduction

This Quality Enhancement Plan is the response by Owensboro Community and Technical College to Core Requirement 2.12 of the SACS Principles of Accreditation. A result of long-term discussion, research, and planning, this plan will bring about changes in students’ knowledge, skills, behaviors, and values attributable to their education and experience at the college. These changes will not only improve student learning and enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of the institution, but it is hoped that this focus on expectations, engagement, and evidence will result in a transformative change that will mark an important event in the history of the college.
