Owensboro Sister Cities / Regions has been asked to assist in
providing the opportunity for email in the English language to
be exchanged between secondary students in our region with
students of Hejčín Gymnazium (high school) in Owensboro's Sister
City of Olomouc, Czech Republic.

Dr. Petr
Šantavý of the Palacky University Hospital in our Sister City of
Olomouc, Czech Republic with the endorsement by the Chair of the
Cardiac Surgery Department, will be hosted for a month long
exchange from April 14 - May 13, 2007. Owensboro Mercy Health
System, Jewish Hospital in Louisville and Owensboro Sister
Cities / Regions are cooperating for the purpose of this
exchange.

Summer Study
Program 2008
Travel to Owensboro's Sister City in the Czech Republic. In
addition to the local area of interest, you will be visiting
Krakow, Poland; Vienna, Austria; Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava,
Slovakia and ending your stay with three days in Prague, capital
of the Czech Republic. The
2008 Summer Study Program will be based in Olomouc, Czech
Republic and will run from May 22 through June 23, 2008.
