This page is always a "work in progress" and changes will be made throughout this semester. At this time, it basically contains the syllabi for the classes, the assignment sheets, and some other useful links, such as how to cite electronic sources for research papers and abstracts.

100CIS is the Introductory micro-computer applications class. Here you will learn how to use basics of the OFFICE XP software package. You will work with WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS and POWERPOINT. You will also learn about the make up of a computer and a computer system through the use of an Internet-based "interactive lab" which accompanies the text for this class. These Interactive Labs can be done in class, in one of our computer labs, or at your home or office if you have an Internet connection.

Much of your learning in this class will be from "hands-on" work; but some will be taken from the associated text book. Much of your work can be done in the classroom during class. This enables me to help you with any problems. I encourage you to work together if you are having difficulties. This encouragement does not extent to tests, however.

Below are certain links, particularly to the class syllabus, assignments and final exams. Keeping up with the assignments is an important part of this class.
