Videotapes and DVDs for Student Use
If you miss a broadcast at home, videotapes and DVDs of all telecourses will be placed on
reserve for two-day checkout at the main desk of the library on the main
campus. Please be conscientious
toward your classmates and return any tape you check out as soon as possible.
Video Streaming Through KET
Most course programs are available via video streaming from KET’s web site.
There are two ways to access the programs online:
- If your instructor is using a course management system (CMS) with the
course (such as Blackboard, WebCT, or Angel), check to see whether
he/she has added links to the video streams for you to access. If so, just
log on to your CMS and click the link for the video you want to watch. The
programs will be viewable with RealPlayer® or Windows Media Player®.
- If your instructor is not using a CMS with the course, or has not
added the video links, you can access the video stream from the KET web
site. Go to
www.ket.org/collegecourses, click on “Current Semester,” and then choose
the course you are taking. Select the icon near the top that says “View
Videos Online (KET)” or “View Videos and Transcripts Online (KET).” You will
be prompted to provide your instructor’s e-mail address and your
institution’s course number in order to log in. The programs will be
viewable with RealPlayer® or Windows Media Player®.
