Year Three Activities 

  • Purchased items/equipment designed to improve student success:

 

          Student planners for Fall 2005 GE 100 students as a retention tool

2 Dell projectors and 12 computers for the Science building

Computer lab instruction software for Learning Resource Center; software will be used to communicate, monitor, and manage students from the instructor’s computer.

2 scanners, 6 computers, a 19-inch monitor, and Zoomtext software for LRC

A laptop security cabinet and 6 laptops for TLC for student check-out

Software for Anatomy & Physiology

Scope-on-a-rope plus accessories (Science)

10 microscopes (Science)

Digital camera (Science)

Wireless access for Main Campus

20 computers for Math lab on Downtown Campus

Camtasia Studio/SnagIt software bundle

Inspiration software

Various software for use in creating multimedia learning objects, video tutorials, web-based

          training materials, etc.

Microsoft LifeCam desktop/computer video camera for recording video tutorials, etc.

Dry erase board for Technical building

12 computers for Reading lab

Portable printer for use by faculty/staff with laptop who need to print while off-campus
