The EARLI System
(Early Assistance with Responsive Learner Interventions)


Purpose
To facilitate student success through the retention of students from the point of application.

Intake Component
-Tracking applicants that are ready to enroll
-Tracking communications with applicants
-Providing single page printouts for advising that includes:
                 -Key advising information from PeopleSoft, including name, program, subplan, address, phone
                   e-mail, total credit hours, GPA, service indicators
                 -Information not tracked in PeopleSoft, including orientation time, initial advisor, assignement and
                   office location, max ACT/COMPASS score and class placement
                 -Maximum ACT/COMPASS score and class placement

Retention/Intervention Component
-Retention/Intervention Initiative collection
                 -Week One: No shows
                 -Week Four: In jeopardy of course failure
                 -Week Eleven: No attendance since 60% mark
-Retention/Intervention contacts with students
-Regain Success Workshops

Potential future developments for the EARLI System:
-
Tracking transfer credit that has been determined to meet general education requirements
-Tracking Discover College enrollment and progression
