Study Tips for Tactile Learners

  • Write while you are reading or talking
  • Use hands-on experience when possible
  • Spend extra time in any labs offered

  • Use role playing with a study partner
  • Exaggerate lip movements in front of a mirror
  • Associate feelings with information
  • Use rhythm (beats) to memorize or explain information
  • Participate in any field trips offered
  • Pretend you are the instructor or tutor; be a crazy professor and move and jump around in front of your class
  • Make flashcards for each step in a procedure. Put the cards in order until the sequence becomes automatic
